I laid the interfacing, glue side up on my workbench.
Laid my hand dyed linen on top and ironed.
Then I laid ribbons and yarn and free motion stitched,
to keep everything in place.
Laid some yarn under organza and stitched.
I curled-up som organza with a heat gun.
Free motion stitched it in place.
Cut it up the size I want.
Stitched some yarn around the edges.
Added strap to wrap around.
And a strap inside to stop the book from falling out.
There it is.

I love your book wrap. Thank you for visiting my blog. I have just been browsing through yours and think your work is fantastic, so varied. A fellow hand-dyer too. Thank you to for the link to ArrBee drsigns, I have bookmarked this site for later. Maggi
This is lovely, and I do appreciate your giving the instructions of how you made it.
What month was that Quilting Arts Mag? I do get it as well.
Thanks for becoming a follower on my Textile Arts Blog. I will go look at more of your work now too.
It is Oct./Nov. 2007 Issue 29. Starts on page 51.
