Morris Hexathon

May 7th 2016 started the six-month quiltalong at Barbara Brackman blog .
New hexagon block every Saturday.
I decided to join and do some more English Paper Piecing.

As Barbara says on her blog
"We'll make various hexies as we discuss a little hexie history. The main theme will be a jog through William Morris's England with stops at places that were important in his life and work. It's a virtual Morris Tour of England."

Three blocks done already.

I'm using Sticks and Stones from Laundry Basket Quilts.

Block one is: Westminister Star.

 Block two is: Crystal Palace.

 Block three is: Camelot Star.

It is not to late to join if you LOVE EPP as I do.

Happy quilting

Paula

P.S. Will try to link up with Anthea at Hibiscus Stitches, Piece Yourself Together. Thanks  Anthea for hosting.

Flower garden

Now, at last, this quilt is finished.
The first flower was made in June 2010.
Back then, Karen at the "journey of a quilter" hosted a group called

It is 61"x82"
Quilted with YLI the flowers, DMC no.8 in between.

I love making hexies, so I thought I would use up som scraps.
Nothing big, just making flowers and see what happens.

Have a blessed week.
