Calendar Girl and Dutch Treat

Finally all 12 girls are stitched.
Next step is to assemble the blocks and
decide on the border.

Earlier this year I bought this book,
wasn't sure if I could do this reverse appliqué.
Made two or three practice blocks before
I decided and bought the fabric for this quilt.

My first two real blocks

Almond

 Old and New

For the main print I'm using batik from "Laundry Basket"
designed by Edyta Sitar.
The foreground fabric, cream tone on tone prints.

I just love this.

Happy stitching

Paula
